clworldwideevents.com

Have you been scammed?

This site is raking the money in. Conning people out of there money and giving them false hope!

Update 06/06/2011

It is with deep regret that I'm unable to respond to anyone personally anymore due to the huge number of emails arriving in my box everyday but i will post any updates here as i receive them and anyone with any additional information can contact me at webmaster@daydreamingonline.com.

Update 31/05/2011

People have received tickets from a 3 bedroom flat in London! (Address on file). Did you receive yours from the same address or is this address innocent email me please.

Update 27/05/2011

clworldwideevents.com blame safeconcerts.com for the company being shut down. Read more

Event tickets your consumer rights
A couple of people have now received tickets though not the seats they originally purchased and one person was asked to change dates. Though the tickets have not been confirmed as genuine and this is not what they ordered i feel this is still good news and that anyone getting there tickets should probably accept them as otherwise it could result in a long drawn out battle and the possibility of ending up with nothing at all. But that's just my opinion.
Many of you have had replies from clworldwideevents concerning your tickets and im in the process of uploading some of them here.

Update 25/05/2011

Comment Box added
In the past week i have received over 20 emails from people who have ordered tickets i will reply to all of you but please bear with me. But what i can tell you is clworldwideevents have apparently (Though not verified yet) been taken over by "Ticket Brokers UK" and the main name that keeps cropping up is "Chris Perkins".
My advice is the still the same talk to your card company or bank tell them they are jointly responsible and (Template here) and that you now know they are not a registered company and want them to investigate as there are countless sites complaining about this company and you strongly believe you have been scammed.
Out of all the people i have spoken with only one person has told me they have received tickets though not for the seats they had ordered and these have not been verified as genuine yet.

Update 02/03/2011

clworldwideevents.com have apparently got a new number 0203 1427 111 as i was informed today through my email and so i called it up and got a man from London who said it's not clworldwideevents.com then i said oh but i was given your number in an email saying how you had taken the company over so he asked did i buy any tickets and it went on but the long and the short of it. This was a very nasty man who got very funny with me and even told me to P**s off when i asked for the name of the company he's working for now and in the end he put the phone down on me but before he did said if I'd ordered any tickets they would arrive 12 days before the event!?!

Old Number:- 0203 142 7112
New Number:- 0203 1427 111
New Email:- clworldwideevents@hotmail.co.uk

Since i started this page about 20 people have been in contact with me with there concerns and worries since then I'm pleased to say 14 have had full refunds so don't give up hope but all of those refunds were before there site got closed down so I'd say contact your card company using a template if needed http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/after_you_buy/making-complaint/template-letters/consumer_credit/ and please keep me updated with your progress.

Whats it all about?

Is a site for buying and selling tickets for all sorts of things from concerts to festivals to wrestling thats sounds great but has anyone ever had a ticket from them? I started this page after my girlfriends Mum ordered 3 tickets from them and after looking into the site realized it must be a scam. As there still selling tickets now for Take-That and you can order what you like as i have done a lot of "Fake" orders and NEVER has it said sold out or no tickets are left.
This site was hosted in Leeds in England and after being shut for apparent server maintenance is now showing as being hosted in America.
The Scam

1. go to clworldwideevents.com

2. Choose an Event

3. Buy tickets

4. Fill in details without agreeing to Terms and Conditions

5. Success

6. Insert card details http://www.darkcoding.net/credit-card-numbers/ Worked fine with random expiry date and cv number

7. Confirmation of order

So without giving them an email address or agreeing to there Terms and Conditions there going email us!

Hey,
Thanks for your email and like wise i'm posting everything i can on http://daydreamingonline.com/clworldwideevents.com/ and am in the process of waiting for a refund for my girlfriends mum. One of the biggest concerns is how they went down for server maintenance (Hosted in leeds) now there hosted in USA. I'm waiting for an email from abuse@singlehop.com as singlehop.com looks like the company who is now hosting the site and will post my findings.
All the best,
Ian

Ian.

I too have been caught by this scam.I ordered 4 tickets for July 3rd then realised it was a Sunday.
I then cancelled over the phone with a guy called Tom and reordered 3 of them for a day earlier once again giving them full bank, name and D.O.B info.
Then I thought it maybe a scam and I would get stung for 7 tickets @ £90.00 EACH.A total of £630.00.To my amazement they only took for the 3 I reordered for the Saturday.

Q. I have since phoned them asking why they needed D.O.B.

A. For security.

Q. Why they are still selling tickets.

A. They bought a lot.

Q. Can they send me an email from there suppliers for proof of purchase.

A. No as it would break client confidentiality.

Q. Why did they take twice as much money out of a lady called Michele account.

A. It was a mistake and they have reimbursed her.

Q. Have they got any satisfied customers to refute claims of them being a scam.

A. Thousands.

Q. If they have thousands why hasn’t one been on blogs to let people know.

A. he doesn't know

Q. Finally why haven’t the company been on blogs to refute hundreds of accusations.

A. If they did this it would make matters worse and this is just a smear campaign as they are not an affiliated ticket seller.

He then told me I would get tickets and had nothing to worry about as they had been trading for 7 years and would have been closed down by now if they didn't deliver.
I have sent 2 emails requesting a refund but seeing we have changed bank details I am wondering how I will get this without giving more info?.

I will keep you informed.

Mike

Hey,
Thankyou for your email and wow you did a good job with the questions. Ok as i'm sure you know usually a refund has to be put back on the card it was taken from but if you no longer have the account then without giving them your new bank details maybe you could suggest a cheaque or bankers draft. I will post this on my site so people can see there answers to your questions as i think it could help. I'll email you if i get any more info on the company but in the mean time i'm posting everything on http://daydreamingonline.com/clworldwideevents.com/ for all too see.
All the best,
Ian

I too have been scammed then judging by your reports on your website.... Straight away I had a funny feeling about the tickets but was so excited about getting them I just went with it! I bought 6 tickets for sat 4th June costing me £500. I've just spoke to my bank to see what I can do! Unsure as to wether to email the company as really don't think they are going to just hand back the money easily they have scammed off me!!! I'll see what my bank says first. So annoyed with myself for been taken in by these rats I just knew they were dodgy as when you type them into google their website doesn't even show. I hope I get a refund! Will let you know

Hi,
I just thought I would let you know that I have checked with my bank and I have received a full refund for the amount that was taken on my credit card.
I'm glad I have managed to get through this relatively unscaathed....except for the huge phone bill I'm going to have after sorting this out!!
Lesson learnt!!
Michele
Can you get a refund?
First email them quoting your reference number and how your not happy. info@clworldwideevents.com and sales@clworldwideevents.com then call them on 0203 005 5347 telling them the same as you did in the email and state how you want a refund asap as your very concerned about being scammed.

If that does not help try this http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/after_you_buy/making-complaint/template-letters/consumer_credit/
